01 Acceptance of the terms
By using Enrútate —whether through the website, the mobile app, or any other means we make available— you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part, we ask that you not use the service.
These terms apply to anyone who accesses Enrútate, with or without a registered account.
02 Description of the service
Enrútate is a public transit information tool that helps you plan trips in your city: it suggests where to walk, which bus to take, and where to get off, and it shows the position of vehicles when data is available.
Enrútate is not a transit operator. We do not provide bus service, we do not sell tickets, and we do not control the schedules, fares, or actual routes of the lines.
03 Real-time information
Bus positions, estimated arrival times, and route availability are calculated from GPS data and third-party sources that may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.
Use the information as a reference, not as a guarantee. A bus marked “live” may run early, run late, or change its route without notice. Always plan with extra time.
04 Permitted use
You may use Enrútate freely for personal, non-commercial purposes. In doing so, you agree not to:
- Extract data in bulk or in an automated manner (scraping) without our written permission.
- Attempt to breach, overload, or disrupt the security or operation of the service.
- Use the information for unlawful purposes or in ways that endanger third parties.
- Resell, redistribute, or present our data as your own.
05 Accounts and registration
Some features —such as saving favorite places or viewing your trip history— may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activity that occurs under your account.
You may request the deletion of your account at any time from the app or by writing to us at hola@enrutate.com.
06 Privacy and data
We collect only the data necessary for the service to work, such as your approximate location to calculate routes. We do not sell your personal data.
The processing of your information is governed by our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms. You have the right to access, rectify, cancel, or object to the use of your data (ARCO rights) in accordance with Mexican law.
07 Intellectual property
The Enrútate brand, its logo, the interface design, the code, and the original content are the property of Enrútate or its licensors, and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You are granted no rights over these elements other than the normal use of the service described in these terms.
08 Third-party content
Enrútate uses maps, transit data, and other services provided by third parties. Those materials are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or content.
The names of routes, stops, and neighborhoods are shown for informational purposes and may not match the official designation.
09 Limitation of liability
Enrútate is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for damages arising from:
- Decisions made based on times, routes, or positions shown in the service.
- Interruptions, errors, or unavailability of the app or the site.
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses of any kind.
Nothing in these terms excludes liabilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10 Changes to the service and to the terms
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features of the service at any time to improve it or for operational reasons. We may also modify these terms; when a change is significant, we will announce it within the service.
Continued use of Enrútate after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11 Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts that apply under Mexican law, waiving any other jurisdiction that might otherwise apply to them.
